The Forge Digital Banking Platform has been essential in bringing Canadian financial institutions to the forefront of enhanced digital banking. One question clients frequently ask us is how to bring their new digital experience to market quickly, especially when they have several strategic priorities competing for their time and attention. With excitement building to debut their new brand, Pathwise Credit Union (Pathwise) found its answer by partnering with The Agency at Central 1 (The Agency) to accelerate delivery of its new Forge public site.

Using the full breadth of The Agency’s strategy, design and implementation services for Forge public sites, Pathwise engaged The Agency for user experience, content strategy, application of its new brand, copywriting and page-building. As experts in the Forge Experience Manager, The Agency hit the ground running, preparing the Pathwise public site for beta launch in just three months, followed by a market launch shortly after. Collaborating with the experts at The Agency brought confidence to this significant initiative, as confirmed by Pathwise’s Director of Marketing and Brand, Dolly Shanthakumar

I am so glad that we made the decision to hire the professionals at The Agency. They knew exactly what was needed from us to build our site from the ground up. We were so impressed with the design of the site and the quality of the content. More than the work, the care that was taken by the team was impressive. I would highly recommend this team.

As part of its service, The Agency provided one-on-one training to Pathwise, transferring the knowledge their team needed to quickly build out the remainder of the site for desktop and mobile. Leveraging The Agency’s expertise during implementation will yield significant efficiencies when Pathwise rolls out its Forge mobile app and online banking, as commented by Alanna Dyani, Senior Manager of Marketing at The Agency

We’re proud to have worked alongside Pathwise to bring their new brand to life digitally. It was a fantastic collaboration with their small but mighty team. We’re even more excited to know we’ve set them up for success to continue to build towards their digital vision.

Pathwise, formerly known as Auto Workers Community Credit Union (AWCCU), serves over 11,000 members in Ontario, with established branches in Oshawa and Bowmanville. Having provided these communities with trusted financial services since 1938, they know their long-term success hinges on their ability to quickly adopt new technology to meet the growing expectations of their members.

Our digital channels are an extension of the person-to-person advice that has made us successful for the past 80 years. As a medium-sized credit union, technology will greatly enhance our ability to connect more deeply, yet still authentically, with our members. Forge gives us the flexibility to do just that, no matter how our members choose to interact with us.
– Chris Inniss, Chief Executive Officer

Comprised of a public website, mobile app and online banking capabilities, Forge’s Retail Banking suite empowers financial institutions to remain innovative and competitive in the market, while offering refined digital banking experiences that are elevated, seamless and secure in comparison to competitors.

We’re so happy we made the decision to build our new digital experience on the Forge platform. It supports where Pathwise is headed from an omnichannel perspective with a seamless continuation of our member experience into the digital realm. Our new site is clean, easy to navigate and really showcases our new brand.
