Prospera Credit Union takes first step in acquiring new members via Open Anywhere™

VANCOUVER — Central 1 Credit Union (Central 1) is pleased to announce that Prospera Credit Union, based in Abbotsford, B.C., is the first credit union to launch Open Anywhere™ Digital with branch integration.

Open Anywhere™ enables real-time application processing to allow online membership and account opening across all mobile and desktop devices, as well as in the branch. Prospera can acquire new members in minutes across all digital channels, through its Contact Centre, and very soon in the branch. 

“The launch of Open Anywhere™ for Prospera Credit Union has marked an important milestone – the first launch of a true end-to-end omni-channel onboarding experience from Central 1 Credit Union,” says Margarita Lurye, Senior Product Manager with Central 1. “Applications in progress can be picked up by credit union staff in the branch, while completed applications are opened in minutes right on the Wealthview banking system.”

Open Anywhere™, developed by Central 1’s fintech experts, enables prospective credit union members to open and fund new accounts online in minutes, using their mobile, tablet or desktop devices.

The latest version of Open Anywhere™ includes full core banking system integration for a streamlined back-end workflow, digital signature capture, real-time account funding via Interac® e-Transfer, integration with TransUnion’s Enhanced Bureau Verification Service ID and Authentication products, latest regulatory updates, and much more.
