Brent joined Central 1 in 2015 as Chief Investment Officer, bringing decades of financial leadership experience from senior treasury roles at Manulife Financial and earlier positions with CIBC in Toronto and New York. At Central 1, he manages a $10 billion investment portfolio and oversees funding and financial services for clients across Canada. Brent holds a Master of Business Administration from McMaster University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder. He serves on the board of Aviso Wealth Inc., chairs its Audit Committee, and sits on the boards of CU CUMIS Wealth Holdings, Co-operators Insurance, and Central 1 Trust Company.
