Dan Dickinson is the Chief Information Officer at BioScript Solutions. Dan is an expert in driving digital transformation and project execution, and he plays a pivotal role in using data and technology to achieve BioScript’s strategy.

Dan grew up on a farm in Nova Scotia and holds both a Bachelor of Commerce and an MBA from Dalhousie University. His career led him to Toronto where he spent more than 20 years in the banking industry at some of Canada’s largest and most innovative banks.

Dan’s experience includes leading the Canadian digital channels at BMO and spearheading the creation of financial challenger EQ Bank. Most recently, Dan worked as Chief Information Officer for Arterra Wines Canada, where he built an entirely new e-commerce technology stack and modernized their IT team structure. Prior to that, Dan was the Chief Information Officer at EQ Bank where he led the organization to be the most technologically adept bank in the country. Dan was responsible for all technology applications, data, operations, and security across the enterprise and reported directly to the CEO.

Dan is interested in leveraging his financial services and cross-sector knowledge of technology and transformation to contribute to Central 1. Throughout his career, Dan has supported customer-centric organizations, like Central 1, and he believes his unique functional skillset and values-based leadership will enable him to contribute to Central 1’s growth and continued success.
