Who we’re looking for
Central 1 is currently inviting applications from a diverse range of outstanding business and board leaders with deep financial services, payments, treasury and technology experience and the proven ability to effectively guide a large-scale enterprise at a key time of growth and transformation to be considered for election for multiple Central 1 Board of Directors opportunities in the Spring of 2026.
Known for their strategic mindset, key market insights and networks, Central 1 Directors have an ability to see the big picture, ask strategic questions and analyze corporate strategies in the context of Central 1’s clear business objectives. Central 1 Directors are exceptional business leaders with strong strategic planning, business, financial and risk management acumen dedicated to acting in Central 1’s best interest with a view to its long-term sustainability.
We are seeking leaders with:
Strong financial services expertise
Corporate governance and prior board of directors experience
Transformational and growth leadership experience
A collaborative mindset and commitment to advancing the credit union sector
