As a tech company bringing financial institutions and Canadians into the future of digital banking and payments, Central 1 is pleased to be hosting the next Vancouver Women in Tech Meet Up at our Vancouver offices on June 21.

Central 1 aims to inspire, support, elevate and empower women at Central 1, the credit union and cooperative sector, and our communities. We know it is the key to economic growth, political stability, and social transformation.

This Meet Up event is part of  Vancouver Women in Tech Regatta , a curated collection of events, workshops and conversations designed to connect women in tech to mentors, peers, resources and to the power of community. The Regatta is organized in collaboration with BC’s Women in Tech Coalition which includes 30 local and provincial women in tech groups. Coming together to amplify careers, actualize goals and define the future of tech.

Founded in 2013, Women in Technology (WIT) is a not-for-profit organization which aims to support women by providing education and networking opportunities at quarterly events as well as raising funds and visibility for mission-aligned non-profit partners.

WiT Regattas take place in Seattle, Vancouver, and Amsterdam. Founded by Melody Biringer, these week-long conferences bring people together to advance women in STEM and Tech.
